After a few days of this site being live I'm happy. Load times are looking good, no major bugs found and my inbox is blissfully free of automated error reports. There's still a little work to do on feeds and plenty of features I want to add, but that will all come together in time. More importantly I've finally got a system in place that makes it easy for me to start posting again. At the moment I spend almost all of my waking hours working on my own stuff and I will probably continue like that for at least the next few months, at the same time I still have a whole lot of unseen images that I really want to upload. I'm planning on taking a break a couple of times a week and getting the best of my archive online, so don't be alarmed if the dates of photographs I post start jumping around in time worse than a recent episode of Lost!
New site. I've rewritten the entire thing from scratch, the aim being to best show off my photographs and give me a solid base to add all the extras I want. Over the next couple of days I'm going to be doing the final bits of the site move, like switching feeds and checking everything is working as it should. The old news and photography feed addresses will continue to work, so if you are already subscribed you don't need to do anything. Once all that's done I can get back to updates and and start to talk about what I've been doing for a year!
